India vs Bangladesh, One-off Test, Day 1 - As it happened

India won the toss and elected to bat

Day 1 Close: India ride on Dhawan's 150* and Vijay 89* to end Day 1 at 239/0 against Bangladesh.

Shikhar Dhawan scored his third Test century and made an explosive comeback to Test cricket with an unbeaten 150 and his opening partner
Murali Vijay remained not out on 89 as India romped to 239/0 on Day 1 of the one-off Test against Bangladesh at Fatullah.

Litton Kumar Das made his debutant as wicketkeeper in the eighth Test meetings between the Tigers' and neighboring rivals India.

Because of rain, only 56 overs were possible, but India scored in excess of four runs per over after winning the toss and electing to bat.
